5/21/12

Vans just made a big splash in the X Games list with riders invited from every BMX discipline. Simon Tabron will be kicking it in Big Air and Vert with DMC and Coco Zurita teaming up on the vert ramp as well. BMX Park is pretty stacked with Scotty Cranmer, Gary Young, Chase Hawk, Kyle Baldock, Pat Casey, Diogo Canina, Rob Darden, Bas Keep and Daniel Sandoval. Chances of an all Vans podium are pretty good for that one! Street will be a treat with Dakota Roche, Ty Morrow, Bruno Hoffman, Sean and Sexton throwing down, but look for a few more Vans riders to make it in before everything is said and done.

Parlsow Wins Red Bull Dream Line BMX Dirt

9/26/11

Style. Big Tricks. Perfection.
Vans BMX rider Luke Parslow can out swinging at the first-ever Dream Line contest in Wabasha, MN this weekend and walked away with $8000 cash and not a scratch on him. Luke threw down 360 flips, flip one-handed x-ups to turndowns, front flips and a giant double backflip, but it was his style and perfection that sealed the deal. Not crashing once and stretching huge classic nothings and supermans made Parslow the unanimous decision for the win. Other Vans riders TJ Ellis, Cory Nastazio, Gary Young and Diogo Canina were going huge on the some of the most perfect dirt jumps ever shaped.

Diogo Canina Thows a Massive 360 No-hander on Ride BMX

8/7/11

This Transworld Ride BMX cover is insane. Vans team rider Diogo Canina found some of the biggest dirt jumps Brazil has to offer and made it happen with the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil in the background. Speaking of massive, take a look at the Vans x Cult Road Trip article to find out what happened when the entire crew met up. I don't know about you, but sounds like a bit too much for the September issue!

Vans scored three wins out of four at FISE 2010 in France

5/19/10

After slaying it on the Vans Wheels of Rock Tour, Gary Young and Diogo Canina rode in the popular FISE contest last weekend. Gary qualified first and took home a second place in the finals with a crazy gap to tire slide that you have to see to believe. Ender clip in this event video:

Seriously, how many ways could that have gone wrong? Also enjoy Mark Webb's 720 decade and Diogo's boosted 360 tabletop. Mark Webb ended up winning the mini ramp contest - but honestly that was written on the wall the second he dropped in.

Here's how the rest of the guys ended up:

Park Pro 1st - Ale Barbero
Park Pro 2nd - Gary Young
Park Pro 4th - Bruno Hoffman

Miniramp Pro 1st - Mark Webb

Flatland Pro 1st - Matthias Dandois
